Alicia Morgans, MD, MPH, is a board-certified medical oncology physician at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.
She serves in multiple leadership roles including Vice President and Chair of the Medical Advisory Board at ZERO: The End of Prostate Cancer and Chair of the Prostate Cancer Track Annual Meeting Education Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Dr Morgans serves as Quality of Life Chair of the Genitourinary Oncology Committee for Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group-American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ECOG-ACRIN) and Chair of the Precision Survivorship Initiative for the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF). She is a member of the Testicular Cancer Guideline Committee and Testicular Cancer Guidelines Panel for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and the Advanced Prostate Cancer Guideline Committee for the American Urology Association. Dr Morgans is an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Clinical Oncology and an ad hoc reviewer for at least 13 peer-reviewed journals. She was a member of the ASCO Leadership Development Program (2017-2018) and is a recipient of a Durden Foundation Creativity Award given by the PCF (2016).
Dr Morgans has published at least 61 peer-reviewed articles. She is an active member of ASCO, the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and ECOG-ACRIN. Dr Morgans’ clinical research focus includes genitourinary cancers.
