Claire Freidman, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and is currently an Assistant Attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and an Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, New York.
She is an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer and serves as a journal reviewer for JAMA Oncology; Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy; Translational Research; and British Journal of Cancer. Dr Friedman has received multiple awards for her leadership in gynecologic cancer including the Young Investigator Award (2017) and the Conquer Cancer Foundation Merit Award each from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (2016).
She has authored or coauthored at least 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and 2 book chapters. Dr Friedman’s clinical research focus includes uterine (endometrial) cancer, uterine sarcoma, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and immunotherapy.
