Biography

Elizabeth Comen, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist, Assistant Attending Physician in Breast Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and an Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, New York.

Dr Comen is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and has received multiple awards for her leadership in breast cancer including the Breakthrough Award from the United States Department of Defense (2015), the Investigator Award from the Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer (2013), the Young Investigator Award from the Breast Cancer Alliance (2011), and the Young Investigator Award (2011) and the Cancer Foundation Merit Award (2010) each from the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

She has authored or coauthored at least 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, at least 2 books, and at least 7 book chapters. Dr Comen’s clinical research focus includes breast cancer and immunotherapy.
