Biography

Jane Meisel, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist who currently serves as Assistant Professor of Hematology/Oncology and Assistant Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

A leader in the fight against breast cancer, Dr Mesiel serves in multiple leadership roles including: 2018-2019 Chair of the Women in Oncology Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), 2019 Co-Chair of the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Review, Professional Development Committee member of ASCO, Cancer Education Committee member of ASCO, Breast Core Committee member of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and Editorial Board member for Clinical Breast Cancer.

Dr Meisel is an active member of ASCO and the American College of Physicians. She has authored or coauthored at least 19 peer-reviewed journal articles and at least 2 books. Dr Meisel’s clinical research focuses on breast cancer.
