Lynn Schuchter, MD, is a board-certified medical oncology physician, the C. Willard Robinson Professor of Hematology/Oncology, Director of the Tara Miller Melanoma Center, and Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She also leads the Melanoma and Cutaneous Malignancies Program at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Schuchter serves in multiple leadership roles including as a member of the Board of Directors for both the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Melanoma Research Foundation, where she is also Co-Chairs the Scientific Advisory Committee. She is the Melanoma Section Editor for ASCO’s Cancer.net.
Dr Schuchter has published at least 135 peer-reviewed articles. She is an active member of ASCO, the Society of Biological Therapy, and the Society of Melanoma Research. Dr Schuchter is a recognized expert in the field of melanoma and an experienced investigator in the development and conduct of melanoma clinical trials.
