Biography

Phuong Morrow, MD, FACP, is Vice President and Global Therapeutic Area Head of Hematology at Amgen in Thousand Oaks, where she oversees the clinical development of hematology programs spanning the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, multiple myeloma, acute myelogenous leukemia, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

Dr Morrow earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She then completed residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine followed by fellowship in hematology/oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is the recipient of a Young Investigator Award given by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (2005).

She has published at least 45 peer-reviewed articles. Dr Morrow’s clinical research focuses on blood cancers and other blood diseases with a special interest in hematology/oncology, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, multiple myeloma, acute myelogenous leukemia, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
